Miley was spotted checking out of her hotel after her brief visit to New York with her mom Tish. In the pics Miley tries to protect from the awaiting paparazzi, telling Tish to cover her head with the shopping bag to avoid getting photographed.
I'm glad Miley has gotten to spend some quality time with her mom, and it's sweet how she is looking out for her like that.
There doesn't seem to be any specific reason Miley was in NYC, perhaps she just wanted to spend some time with her mom, do a spot of shopping or maybe she was there on business.
