Alan Merrill, the singer and songwriter of the original 1975 version of "I Love Rock 'N' Roll" by The Arrows has said on a German TV show "Die ultimative Chart Show" today that he prefers Miley's version of the song, more so than Joan Jett's or Britney Spears'!
